Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Development at NBS Ireland

As we reflect on the past year at NBS Ireland, 2025 has been a significant year of development and expansion, with a continued focus on broadening our product offering and supporting brokers with clear, practical solutions.

Over the course of the year, we expanded the NBS Ireland product range in a way that’s practical and relevant for brokers. We introduced covers including Petrol Station Insurance and Hair & Beauty Insurance and broadened our Food & Eateries offering to include Cafés & Sandwich Shops and Fish & Chip Shops.

Professional Indemnity was another key focus for us this year. We introduced Miscellaneous Professions PI, and refreshed policy wordings across existing professions to keep cover clear and relevant. We also added complimentary legal support for PI policyholders and later increased our PI limit to €6.5 million.

We also moved into new sectors with the launch of Sports, Gyms and Social Club Insurance, and introduced Commercial Combined Insurance in October, expanding our commercial offering.

We’ve been encouraged by the results of our recent broker feedback survey, which provided positive insight into how our products, service and support are being received. This feedback is invaluable and will continue to guide our priorities as we improve.

As we look ahead, our focus remains on building a strong, reliable and easy-to-trade-with proposition for Irish brokers. We’ll continue to listen, refine and invest in the areas that make the biggest difference.
