Sue Coogan CIP

Sue Coogan is our Development Underwriter with over 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. She plays a key role in supporting brokers by managing new business submissions from initial enquiry to final placement, ensuring the best possible outcome in a competitive market.

Sue excels at bridging the gap between business development and underwriting operations, offering invaluable support to brokers and helping drive growth across the business. With expertise in both retail and wholesale insurance, she specialises in liability and commercial lines. She also holds a CIP qualification and is known for her technical knowledge, collaborative approach and strong communication skills.

Since joining NBS Ireland, Sue has become an integral part of the team. She describes the culture as friendly, motivating and genuinely team oriented, something she felt from her first day.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys going to the gym, attending concerts and spending time with her dog. She’s also a big fan of music and is rarely without her Spotify playlist.
